Ive had an Ooni Koda 16 since 2020 and have loved it. The thermocouple has been giving me problems and Ive decided its time for a replacement oven. Alot has changed since that oven came out in 2020 and Id love to hear opinions on the best options in 2026. Do you own an oven you love (or perhaps hate)? Thoughts?

I use a pizza steel in my home oven and it works great. Gets hotter than a pizza stone. For dough I use poco berro. It’s new your style that you can order frozen. I make amazing pizza at home using this steel and dough.

I have an electric Big Horn oven. Gets up to 850 degrees and is very convenient. Is it the best out there? Probably not, but it's also only $230 from Amazon and works very well.

A thermocouple replacement is probably fairly cheap, so I’ll take the old one when you upgrade

I have a blackstone pizza oven (on my second one in 10 years time) and love it. I wouldn't pay what they normally ask, but I scooped this one up 2 years ago on clearance at walmart.

Propane powered
Rotating steel platter at the bottom that holds a round stone
Stone sits above

Heats up nicely, rotation keeps things even. Gets super hot if you let it.
