Rouses has Boston butte on sale for $1.27 a lb. What I do is pick up a couple twin packs and have em cut em up for me. I get en in strips like country style ribs which they had for 1.79 They are very versatile just like that on the pit or oven. From there its easy to chop them into stew/jambalaya meat. just the right size for dropping in the grinder and making sausage or ground pork. I sometimes have them cut em into steaks which is good but not as versatile.

Captain, Loins were $1.47# This past week. I bought 6 of them. You can do the same with them and cut them into poke chops. I'll run by there and pick me up a couple twin packs. Get them to slice me one into grillades too.

It's best to ask nicely.

Pork is so versatile and cheap. Between that and deer meat, I rarely eat beef at home anymore.
