Lafayette is a desolate wasteland for Boudin, Scott is ok. The grocery in Carencro of 49 is ok, but Laffy itself is lacking.

yeah that drive from Lafayette to Scott is killer, I often stay at KOA before returning home with my Billy's boudin

Market basket boudin is very underrated


So is the lake Charles foodie scene. Some great spots and is only growing

Market Bucket boudin sucks arse, they put a ton of rice in it. Famous foods is pretty good but inconsistent, but their cracklins are legit. Hacketts has decent boudin.

Hate to tell you, but the Wal Mart deli was ranked 4th in best places to eat in Lake Charles. Seriously!
