My first eating experience in the New Orleans area about 15 years ago was at Perino’s. Recommend by a coworker who said this is a place the locals eat at. I thought it was pretty damn good. Where does this place rank on the “locals eating joints” scale? I have a business trip in a few months to New Orleans and would like to revisit the place if it’s still open. TIA

I have been there and its fine but it is not on a lot of people's radar because of location.

It’s still there, catering to locals.

Perino’s Boiling pot is in Harvey not Marrero. Perino’s seafood is in Marrero. Learn your west bank.
