I did a search for Pastalaya and historical threads reference LSUDAD's recipe and compliments of Chef Jeff Hebert.
These posts are so old, the links go nowhere.
Anyone have a "legendary" pastalaya recipe link?
Ive cooked the Cajun Ninja one that is stovetop and goes into the oven, legit,
but looking to upsize a recipe for my 5 gallon jambalaya pot.

Look for the pastalaya tab on the bottom of the Jambalaya Calculator spreadsheet.

Yes, I read that tab. Confusing to me is that it reads:
"Use the calculator to figure pounds of pasta needed.Just substitute the same weight of pasta instead of the calculated amount of rice. The liquid used should be about 1.25 quarts per pound of pasta. "
and I use 5 lbs of rice in my 5 gallon pot for jambalaya...
So that would equate using 5 lbs of pasta?
because it then states: "The pictures show 1 pound of spaghetti in a 6 gallon pot."
trying to get the ratios right...

Use Gemelli pasta. Looks like braided rope. It’s dense and won’t break apart or get mushy. Does a great job of soaking up the liquid. Also, add some heavy cream when you turn the fire off. When I make 10 gallons , I add a quart of cream.

You need to update to version 7.3.
