Yeah, the selections suck. Might have a Sam Adams Summer ale. Best choice.

I have two more hours. Won't be a problem.
The fresh squeezed margaritas from that mexican place worked wonders for me last year.

Morning drinking at the airport sucks dude. Every time I think about doing that I feel like an alki.
Makes flying more bearable.
G&T on the plane and Margaritas in the airports=nice flight.

True, but the last time I was drinking this early in an airport, I still hadn't had breakfast so I was pretty tipsy pretty quickly

Did you order that kit from More Beer? Brew it next weekend?

Unless "that mexican place" is Chili's I'm in the wrong terminal.

I ordered it but it hasn't shipped. Not sure when we can come. This weekend I'll be in Covington and next weekend is fairly tied up I think. Start saving high pressure Belgian bottles though.

Yes you are.
Think it's in terminal D but I'm not sure. I know a papadeauxs is close by.

Sounds good. I forgot that next weekend is the brewing showcase at Marcellos and Father's Day. So brew day with my dad will probably happen on Sunday.

You do recognize that beer doesn't get made overnight right?
Yes, I am well aware of that. Just seems like it was at least a year ago when I heard that it would be in bottles soon. I actually email the brewery (sorry, not on first name terms with the owner) back when I first heard. I wonder if I still have the reply.
And I am not simply singling out Parish. I'm talking in general.

I would think this is in prep for his Barley Wine, Pumpkin, etc.
Has the brew master already stated that he would be making a Barley Wine and Pumpkin?

He has made them before but not released them since his market has never been that large. So I am just assuming since he is putting in a bomber bottling line for beers like that. I cannot see him bottling his normal beers in 22's but I could be wrong.
His Barley Wine was great and I know he wants to bring that to the public just hasn't had the space before now.

I didn't mean to come across as arrogant or condescending. So I apologize if that was the case. They had a long set back with the new brewery which delayed everything else. Then they made the decision to focus on expanding the availability of the kegs before getting bottles out, but they have the capacity now so it is finally getting much closer.

Understand, especially with the marketing that Tin Roof and Abita did for their cans/beers. Parish has not done much of that at all, it is really just us beer nerds getting excited and talking about it. The brewery did just post a video of his bottling line up and running, which just creates more excitement on our part.

I understand where he's coming from though. Back last fall, Andrew was saying that bottles should be showing up around late January or early February. Obviously there were a lot of setbacks with the new brewery, so it's understandable that he's a bit pessimistic about any new timetables.
It seems that brewers definition of "soon" and the public's definition of "soon" are not necessarily compatible.
