In Br you have:

1) Whole Foods
2) Johhny D on a good day
3) Papa John thin crust well done
4) Totinos
10 or maybe 11) Fleur de I like this place because everyone says it is classic Roman Pizza

that seems fair.

from what i have had in NOLA:

1. Slice
2. Whole Foods on Magazine...NOT the one on Vets.
3. Theo's/Papa John's thin crust well done
4. Rocky's
5. Reggineli's
6. Balcony Bar

Papa John's definitely is the best of its kind, IMO.

(meaning national pizza chains)

i have not had the pleasure of tasting Johnny's. but i have no doubt it's probably the single best dish in the state.

Garbage. I don't think Reginellis is much better. Pretty much the same pizza to me, pehaps without such an offputting sauce, I suppose.

I haven't had any pizza from there in forever, but we went to eat there on Friday and I got some kind of flatbread sandwich that was really good. It was:

quote:

DREAM STATE 8.25
Herbed goat cheese layered with roasted red peppers, roma tomatos, pancetta, roasted eggplant, roasted walnuts and mixed greens. Dressed with Balsamic citrus vinaigrette.

$12 for that and two non-domestic beers and I was happy.
