Not like they were when it opened.

Does this mean there's a line, but not an insane one?
It doesn't appear there's ever a line at all at the Metairie one anymore. I went once a few months ago, and there was not one then. I have no desire to ever return.

I pass it often...the parling lot is EMPTY during the week...the weekends have a semi-full parking lot with no lines. Hopefully, it will die quietly.

So a restaurant owner has to lose money because you're too big of a food snob to step foot in a buffet or chain restaurant?
Pretty fricking lame IMO.

I'll buy you some Pancho's for your kind words, good sir
I actually don't like the food at Pancho's.
But I don't use that as an excuse to hope that some restaurant owner loses money on an investment, and that the employees need to find another job somewhere.
If people still enjoy eating out at Pancho's or Ryan's, more power to them. I don't get upset that they're not going to Commander's Palace or Galatoire's instead. I don't shite what they eat.

I love Commanders but frick do I enjoy slumming at Pancho's

Pancho's comming to Slidell is good but I wished it was not at the cost of The Big Apple.I enjoyed the Chinese food they had on there buffet. I hope the Apple opens somewhere else in Slidell or Covington.

It's not like they bought them out
Their business model is to move into a building where a previous buffet went out of business, or moved locations.
