We hit up Palm and Pine Sat Night before Book of Mormon at the Saenger. The place was packed. I was able to sneak in a reservation because they had a cancelation. We were seated at the “kitchen counter” which I would recommend if you like watching food prepared. We started with the P&P salad which is large enough to split. It was fantastic. We then went on to split fried oysters, bbq shrimp, and smoked pork cheeks. All of the dishes were great, but the cheeks were outstanding. Service was top notch. And the bill wasn’t absurd. We are trying to figure out an excuse to go back. Highly recommend if your looking for a spot before a show.

Went there in 2020 at the recommendation of a chef that joined me there. Fantastic experience.

I was underwhelmed about five years ago. Food was decent but not incredible and the Covid virtue signalling was out of control and idiotic. I'm not a return customer. Too much good stuff nearby.
