Go to Half Shell and ask if any of the shuckers are off that night and see if they want to make some extra money

Only advice I can give is to make sure the person really knows how to shuck oysters.
The wife and I went to a block party last year and one of the people on the block got around 500 oysters delivered to his house, all nice singles and he met a guy in a neighborhood bar who claimed he could shuck and he hired him.
I am watching the guy and he's flat pitiful at shucking and goes on his cellphone to look at videos on how to shuck oysters------I shite you not. So I just
and told the guy to go home and took over and spent the afternoon shucking oysters for grilling, eating on the half shell and frying.
Get a real oyster shucker is my best advice. Don't just take some goobers word for it.

My dad and Uncle use to do that back in the 80s.
