Do you any of you have one of these?
I am strangely attracted to this, though I know it's not necessary to my life.
Here it is on Amazon.

ETA: Here's a video of a guy cooking some shrimp in one.

But why?
Not trying to be an arse. But other than maybe saving some space since you can stand them upright, what makes this a “sell”? Seems like it would be a PITA to clean.

That's my experience with all of those pans especially for oysters, damn near have to pressure wash them.
This one looks similar to one of those mini cornbread pans.

That’s cool but I can’t buy something like that for only a single use.

Would be a great rusty ice cube tray

Get some of the stainless steel oyster shell shaped contraptions and make the same type dishes with the added bonus of being able to toss them in the dishwasher. Cast iron brings nothing at all to the table here except being a PITA.

Thanks folks. I have removed it from my cart on Amazon. Maybe I was just hungry and those shrimp looked tasty.
I did also picture some mini cornbread bites or hot water cornbread bites, though.

Why do folks always leave the tail and the last row of shell? Gotta be for presentation only, otherwise, a waste.

Easier grip for finger food.

I think it's fine when you are eating them as a finger food. I don't like it when the tails are left on in a dish that is not meant to be eaten with your hands. It is definitely done for presentation, but it makes eating the dish either messy or you have to waste that part of the tail meat cutting off the tails.

It looks like it might be the right size for mini corndogs, too. I can definitely see more than one use for it, but I can also see it being a PITA to clean, dry and oil without missing spots or oil pooling in the wells.

Salads are the most annoying IMO
