When cooking pastalaya with orzo, do you still use the ~1qt water per pound similar to other pastas?

Never heard of Orzolaya but it sounds interesting. I did make Quinoalaya one year. Wasn't as bad as it sounds

I would start with 1.25 quarts per pound and adjust next time if needed.
If it's too wet, you can always leave the lid off a while.
