Going in April. Any opinions on Louisiana Lagniappe and Fisher's? Online, they get great reviews. How good and what to order?

Fisher's was our favorite for a while, but last time we ate there 2 years ago it missed the mark for us. Perhaps it was just an off night, but all 4 of us left disappointed.

Haven't eaten at Louisiana Lagniappe in years, so can't comment on it currently. I always enjoyed it though.

We like Big Fish if we want a nicer meal. For casual, we like The Gulf and Fisher's Dockside. Playa isn't bad either.

They are both good, and worth checking out. Can’t go wrong with either.

Yes, those are good.

Here is the thread on South Alabama beach dining from two weeks back.

Lots of places here.

Fisher’s Upstairs just reopened after Sally. It’s solid. If you are going with kids or looking for something more casual, Fishers Dockside would be the better option, however it remains closed from the storm still.
