'll mirror this. I think it could stand to use a little more carbonation. Sitting in the pitchers wasn't the best way to enjoy it, but out of the bottle it's great.
And yet it was still the greatest Parish brew of all time on Saturday by all on this board.

No, unless you're talking about Reve.

Was this typical? I watched them pour my glass of Opus directly from a tap at the bar.

Did you have it? It is my favorite brew of theirs. I do find it is better out of the bottle, than it was on tap at the brewery. I watched the bartender pour mine from the tap inside. No carbonation issues. The hops just seem more present out of the bottles.

I think most of this is just people bitching for the sake of bitching. Yes, if they poured a pitcher and it sat out for too long, like 10-15 minutes, then i can see there being issues. But i seriously doubt they were doing this. They were pouring into pitchers, because the pitchers were warm, and the beer was cold. When you get cold carbonated beer touching a warm glass or plastic pitcher, you will have more bubbles from the carbonation. So they were pouring into the pitcher and trying to reduce as much bubbles as possible, to give everyone a good pour. But i doubt the guys at the brewery would be stacking pitchers of Opus in anticipation of a mass influx of patrons to come in. At least i didn't see it.

Around back @ the cash bar was the only way I saw it, but I was only there for one.

living in Dallas Fort Worth, I only make it over to the lafayette area every once in a while, but Parish has some really good beers going right now. I wish I could have made it down for the Opus Vert release

Let me get this straight, we have a beer that tastes like Miller high life that has too much and/or too little carbonation according to this thread.
