It wasn't successful, they've lost money on it...

I would happily pay triple that at Canes just to NOT have to deal with the "annoying" workers at Popeyes.

Guthries > Canes

Chicken fingers and sauce (which Cane's copied from Guthries) are the same quality but Guthries has better krinkle fries (not tiny stringy ones that Canes has) and better Texas Toast (Guthrie's actually has "toast" instead of a doughy french bread that Canes calls Texas Toast.

Truth. Just found this out yesterday when I ordered.

The 3-finger used to be 5.97 after tax. Now it's 7.05 or something.

This is brought up every time there is a thread about Cane's. Who cares...other than Guthries fanboys?

The bread Cane's uses is Bunny Bread that is actually branded as "Texas Toast," not French bread at all, so try again.

Not to mention you will be waiting at Popeyes for 30 minutes to get your order. In and out of Cane's drive through in less than 5 tops.

I also like the people that refuse to eat at Cane's anymore because they moved some corporate offices to Dallas, but continue to support Popeye's. They might want to investigate where their beloved Louisiana chicken shack is based out of.

They opened an Otters on Laffy, half a block from Cains on Pinhook. It stayed open maybe 6 months.

I went once, quite some time ago and believe I ended up spending over $11 for chicken finger, fries, bread and a drink.
