No kidding, I was way off. I had Noah’s on my mind when I typed that post, hence my confusion. Noah’s daughters used to work behind the counter and I swear they were all 6’ tall. I remember the condensation-sweating pie case by the front counter.

There’s a place in Thibodaux called “Malt & Burger”.
They don’t have carhops, but they do have curbside window ordering and pickup like some of the old 50’s restaurants.
