Does anyone have this recipe? Every Tuesday they served it and it was the best! In Cortana it was Maison Market.

If there was a cookbook out there, Stadium Rat will have it.

Not sure what cookbook that would be. I don't know of a Maison Blanche one. I did just get the DH Holmes one a couple of months ago - very hard to come by.

I don't know if there ever was one, but I figured if one existed, you might have it.

Maybe if you could describe it, we could come up with some suggestions for duplicating it.

Very creamy, not too spicy, just enough. Also had a little sweetness to it.

If it was creamy, they probably added fat to it, most likely lard, maybe butter.

Spice level is up to you, just add small amounts until it's where you want.

I find the less salt you use, the sweeter it tastes.

Like the chili thread.

I'm going to resurrect the grease on top of gumbo thread at some point.
