I’m trying to understand the thought process behind WHY. This could possibly help better inform a suggestion for him.

He could make his own homemade Luxardo cherries too, but it's easier to buy them and use that instead. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Growing and making luxardo cherries is equivalent to making a batch of simple syrup?

Ok lol

So I'm assuming you grow and harvest your own sugar cane then?

Is making a batch of simple syrup difficult? No, not terribly. Is pouring a premade sugar mixture from a bottle even simpler? Yep. This is all he's asking for.

You're just being an internet douche.

Sure, it’s simpler. Which is why I asked if he was trying to shave off 5 seconds of “drink making” before people absolutely had meltdowns over it lol

If you cant understand, Im not sure I can explain it to you. It seems like others understand. Thanks though

I mean he’s right. You already want to put your own bourbon in it just add 2 more ingredients. Those mixers are a ripoff anyway. You are wasting money and saving 20 seconds

Certainly one of the can't read the room posters. The double down guys make this place worth the cost of the premium membership.

Was the thread title "Help make a a fat try-hard idiot a believer in pre-made Old Fashioned mixes"? If so you have a point. If it's not the point of thread, which it's not, you're just being a fat idiot with nothing to contribute. It's painfully obvious you're trying to goad the dude into an argument for making his own Old Fashioned mix. Which is what fat try hard idiots do. Hope that helps

I remember buying something similar to this in Dominican Republic. A hard mix for their coveted Mamajuana. It has cinnamon sticks and a few other things in a bottle. The idea was to fly without alcohol. Once you got home you could pour in wine or a few other different kind of spirits then let it settle a week or so.

I know we brought a bottle home and I dont think we ever even mixed it. it was certainly a impulse purchase.

You’re such a figure outer it’s surprising you can’t figure out the simplicity of just making the drink like normal lol

Posted it in your IM thread on the AU board, but worth sharing here. Mile High Mixers

Owner is from Birmingham and Auburn grad, so figured it's worth sharing. Great for flights, obviously. Buddy of mine recommended them to me and I think they are solid. I've tried the old fashioned and the whisky sour. They are a little pricier than some though, only coming in airplane approved bottles.
