Thanks!! It is kind of like when you make pickles, that kind of brine! I will have to try it on my Turkey this year at Thanksgiving.
So, question: If I use this Brine method, I can still season my turkey with my REGULAR amount of seasoning?? I don't have to cut back on the salt?

It works well with fried turkey. I've done it a lot and never had any flare ups.

Season it as you would normally. If washed off completely a couple times in cool water and completely patted dry it will NOT taste salty. The pat dry is to make sure the skin gets crisp.

Ever try leaving out the sugar? I'm not a sugar kind of guy. What is it's purpose?
