Ayinger is a great fall beer. You also need to try Aventinus and any of the Westepheiner (SP?) beers. I love just about all of them especially the Vitus.

I just might. I go to Houston every december to visit family and the specs that i go to is in the burbs and usually has lots of stuff left over. I always manage to get some Deschutes limiteds there. I got the Red Chair IPA once before, as well as a few bottles of Hop Trip. Just have to be careful that the hops haven't died.

also had my first Pumpkinator last weekend. I really enjoyed it. I like having a pumpkin stout as an alternative to a lighter Punkin'. I am a big fan of the Raging Bitch that was posted. I find myself absolutely loving Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Wild. I have a homebrew that a family member and I made back in April in the fridge that will be opened Saturday, and I think it's basically a honey IPA. He's not terribly happy with the way it turned out, but we shall see. I picked up the lasst sixer of Ska Mexican Logger at my "local" Specs, and also a sixer of Saint Arnold Christmas and 4 pack of Double-Wide IPA

excited for Abyss in a couple more weeks, and will grab a Double Bastard if any are available.

Any of you ever find a beer in your fridge or wherever you keep your beers that you forgot you bought? I found a Stone 15th Black IPA that I didn't know I had, and celebrating ensued.

Oh, and Stout Day is this Thusday, which I will celebrate with

I'll get with him this week and tell him to start looking. Deschutes has a really solid offering. Their Inversion IPA's pretty good as well, and Obsidian is very solid. Of course I know there's mad love for Black Butte on this board...

Great Lakes doesn't make a bad beer. If you are in Chicago check out their Christmas Ale I was talking about yesterday.

And the standard Dortmunder. GLBC could be the best thing in Cleveland right now. They've actually started a local brew movement. We've had about 10 really good breweries open up recently. If you ever see Thirsty Dog, try that out. It as the original GLBC brew master who opened up with own brewery in Akron

I had plenty of good stuff for sure. Brought a lot of it home with me too. Didn't have that one though. My uncle had a lot of Hefe's at his house and I had a RIS at some local restaurant/brewpub that was pretty good. Can't remember the name of the place off the top of my head but it was very cool to have that in town.

The regular boring old Yeti Imperial Stout is one of my all-time favorite beers.

I don't like Porters and Stouts. I think they all taste like coffee, and I hate coffee.
