Gonna be boiling somewhere around 180-200 pounds of crawfish on Saturday. Usually get live crawfish from either Today's Ketch or Lil' Kats. Called both of them today, live is running 1.99/lb.

For this amount of crawfish (this will the most I've boiled at once in 3-4 years) is there anywhere else in the NOLA area that might give a better price? I keep hearing about these seafood markets / guys on the side of the road on the west bank but I don'w know much about it. Someone also told me restaurant depot, but don't you have to have an account to shop there?

Just curious if anyone has any ideas. With 200 lbs every penny per pound counts!!

That's the price in Mecca right now. Hoping for a drop or two before I do a few big May boils.
