Skip breakfast
Chicken, turkey, beef, fish, eggs, veggies for lunch
Same for dinner (or sub in a protein shake)

It's really easy once you overcome the mental aspect and the initial fatigue

No carb or low carb? Stringent diets are hard to stick to and the weight usually comes back. I went low carb but didn't get too strict. For a couple months Itried to stay under 100 g/day and dropped around 20 lbs. easily. Now I stay around 125-150/day and have maintained my weight with no problem. I didn't make any attempt at ketosis.

I've been keto/low carb for about a year. Toying with the idea of zero carb. Lots of info on FB groups like "zeroing in on health" and Twitter/Instagram.

On twitter, look at @sbakermd specifically. Dude is 50 and an orthopedic surgeon, has been on a purely carnivore diet for about 7 months (keto prior) and is crushing records on the concept 2 rower. Great twitter follow.

I did zero carb for 3 months and lost 30 pounds. And I was eating a LOT of cheese, bacon, sausage, etc. And my cholesterol spiked dramatically. So I've been trying to just eat sensibly (lots of Lean Cuisines and low fat soups) and gained 5 pounds in 3 months, with a lot less fat. In a couple of days I'll find out what my cholesterol has done and I'm also going to try to do a sane, low carb diet for a while.

Woke up this morning and gained 2.6 pounds. I'll knock it back off, but it's frustrating to have ONE DAMN MEAL and gain weight.

Water weight. Your glycogen stores were probably depleted.

Why don't you try lean meats? Chicken, seafood, etc.

I'm grilling and smoking meat all of the time now. Just meat and cheese. Liquor and water.
