I corrected there because a friend of mine wound up at Texas Roadhouse, needless to say he was not pleased.

His wife is actually from Carencro and she works there as a chef as well. She knows good cajun food, so she's trying to get more of it going. I know they've even started ordering several meats from Don's Specialty there in Carencro. I think they'll continue to get some really good dishes there. Good atmosphere as well.

There are also some excellent Chinese places in Shreveport-Bossier. My favorite is Ming Garden near the Barksdale Bridge.

I like the Cub but the steak wasn't anything great. It was a cool little place that somehow keeps the noise from the bar out. The highlight was the french fries IMO. Those things were awesome. Little overpriced.
