Prime strip is pretty good but nothing beats a good ribeye.

Yes.

Ribeye has way more marbling. The meat has a different texture (both on the knife and the teeth).

I would be able to tell the difference. But I preferred a strip over a ribeye, people like a ribeye because of the fat, but if you are into pure steak flavor, no way does a Ribeye taste better than a Strip!

The marbling gives it away to ribeye but I could stand "less fat"..might have to force myself to go strip.

New York Strips are shite. I’ve never had one that I preferred over a filet or ribeye.

I greatly prefer the ribeye cap. When I buy steaks I search for the ribeye with the most amount of cap meat. Careful shopping and you can sometimes get close to half cap meat.
