What do ya'll know about this place? Had heard they were close to opening, but I don't see a website or facebook page for them.

Really glad that Zeke's is finally gone. That place has been bad for quite a while.

Edited to change name of restaurant.

You mean, that even the great mean Englishman couldn't save Zeke's?!

I talked to several people who said they would never go to Zeke's just because of how the owner came off during that show.

He didn't come off half as bad as a lot of the owners on that show. And honestly, I probably wouldn't have eaten there before they were on Kitchen Nightmares, but there is no way in hell I would ever go to Oceania. That place screams tourist trap with their ad nauseum advertising, not to mention how disgusting that place looked on the show.

This thread's the first thing that shows up on a Google search, and nothing else about a restaurant in Metairie by that name.

What sort of place is this supposed to be?

Well, I guess it would have helped if I had called it by its real name, which is Porter & Luke's. I had the names reversed.

Saw mention of it on another forum. Sounds like a neighborhood place with a lean toward some Italian. Chef is Vincent Manguno.
