I'll believe it when I see it finally open.
I live a few blocks from the beer garden. The exterior looks done. I figure it will be open by 4th of July, if not sooner.

Not much to hate on except for the name. The location and concept sound great to me.
Definitely.

Horrible name but if it's anything like Hayride, it'll be a solid addition to the neighborhood. My only gripe with Hayride is that there isn't any draft beer but it has more of a cocktail vibe in there anyway.

Why does a prohibition themed cocktail bar need draft beer? Are there not enough draft beer places in BR already?

CALM DOWN, the real estate market is doing well.
It doesn't need it, I personally IMO would like a nice draft beer occasionally at a bar. I know what I'm getting into when I go there which is about 2-3 times a month.

I miss the days of local establishments being named after their owners.

Is this a reference I should understand? I'm down to just call it the Pelican or something, but I'm curious about its origin. To this layman it sounds pretty try-hardy. Still excited about it!
