I want to say my mom actually found a 6 QT Creuset dutch oven at Tuesday Morning or some other discount type of place for much cheaper
I've checked Tuesday Morning and TJ Max a lot. Their "deals" are not that great on Creuset and Chaussier (the 2 brands I've found)

FWIW I got a dutch oven that was about 6-7 quarts when I was in Wyoming last year

It was Cast Iron and worked great for a jambalaya that was that size

I know you aren't looking for Cast Iron but I figured it would answer your question of it being big enough

no one else has a dutch oven?

We have the $40 one from Sam's. Haven't used it much but it seems to work as expected and be good quality for the price. LINK

My LeCreuset is more than forty years old and still as good as the day I bought it. At that time, it was pretty much the only game in town. Highly recommended.

Creuset. Round. Don't remember the size, but bigger than my 5 qt. Saw it Saturday morning at the Elmwood TJ Maxx mixed in with some Cuisinart dutch ovens.

All this talk today of dutch ovens got me worked up. Had to come home and braise some beef in red wine.

We have a Crueset oval that cooks really nice. We have an older Walmart Dutch oven that cooks really nice.

Hate on me guys. I can't tell the difference.

Lodge is absolutely solid. Got one for $50 on amazon a couple weeks ago and have already used it 4 times. Great.
