Looking for a natural gas setup for boiling seafood. Any good brands? I looked at bayou classic and didn't see any

Also, I'm concerned that my natural gas pressure isn't high enough, when you turn it on you definitely smell gas but it's not coming out like a propane tank

I feel like my natural gas pressure isn't high enough for all those burners. How fast does your gas come out? Like propane?

I have a multi-jet burner like FatboyDave's. Works great on a ~20 gallon pot.

Your house gas pressure should be around 4-6 inches of water, which is much lower than a propane system.

Buddy of mine has one of these he picked up for his crawfish boils from Shoppers Choice. It attaches with a quick disconnect right into the stub out at the wall. Think he payed close to $300 for it but it boils water quicker than the jet propane burners. I've texted him to get the specifics. When he answers I will update this post.

The burner puts out a lot of heat. It doesn't roar like a propane burner but it will get a pot of water boiling an a little more time than it takes my propane burners. THe slight delay is worth it to me knowing I will not have to worry about having a full bottle of propane.

My buddy cant remember the brand but he said its close to the one I linked below. As stated in the post above this one, it is much quieter than the jet. Its nice to stand around the pot and communicate without having to scream.

Mine sounds like that posted video. I paid a lot less than they want for that burner. That burner, threaded pipe, a hose, and an old burner cost less than $100.

G4 burner. They sell them at Goodwood Hardware. Takes longer than propane burner, but quiet, and nice to not have to chase down propane bottles.

Do these have a regulator of some sort so you could fry fish or do a jambalaya on them?

If ya lookin for blow torch natural gas aint it. But for cookin its better cause with the right jet it can be set precisely. We ahd natural gas when I was a kid and used it out side for most all cooking but used propane for seafood boils. Down side of NG it dont really rolar. Down side of propane its hard to regulate very touchy.

How are you measuring this?

Thanks for the replies, this has been helpful

Now I am curious about how high my natural gas pressure is. I'm going to have to look into how to measure that.

Seems like there are some conflicting reports on heat. Some saying it heats a boil faster than propane, others saying it's slower. I guess the debate is unsettled
