A house on Jefferson, just moved here. It's nice. Food wise, yea the landing. Tomorrow should be busy downtown, with hall of fame weekend. Lots to do. The marina or the landing.

Not quite sure what people see in this town. The downtown on the river is charming, sure, but aside from that....??

The absence of you would be a pretty good selling point Pawl.

Believe it or not, there are some actual weird intellectuals hiding out there, and there is a certain culture that I've never found anywhere else. Nevertheless, had I stayed I would have either died from a lard induced heart attack or simple suicide.

I should have used the term "eccentric" rather than "weird", because I didn't mean it in a negative sense. There have been somewhat significant writers and visual artists in Natchitoches and down Cane River for over a century.

Along with a beautiful women and the best Dairy Queen in the country.

Yes. Check it out me time you're there. Best fastfood experience I've ever had; that's including any chick-fil-a.

I'm up there all the time but that Dairy Queen has nothing on some of the older "country" Dairy Queens.
