Must be a trend at Albertson's to have a stinky spoiled seafood odor bc I went to one and noticed the same issue. I asked about it. Clerk told me it was the boiled crawfish. I disagreed. I also told my friend to only buy seafood which was still frozen if buying from there.

Each Albertsons is different. There are some I trust in LA, and others I won't even consider buying their seafood.
I do like their occasional sale on jumbo snow crab legs and always ask them to get frozen from the back for me since they go right into my freezer and don't have a chance to sit around their seafood counter thawed.
As far as produce, I find Albertsons very good, but very pricey.
