Nighty night. Virtue is overrated IMO.

2 jalapenos
1/2 tomatillo
1/2 tomato
handful of chopped onions
mixture of cumin, cinnamon, chili powder, smoked paprika, granulated garlic, salt, black pepper

all ingredients in the blender add a little bit of orange soda.

It comes out similiar to a really thick salsa but I use this to marinate my skirt steak or any kind of beef

delicious

interesting. One of my Dominican friends swore that it was good to marinade fatty pork cuts in orange Jarrito soda, garlic, onions, and jalapenos. Maybe he wasn't bullshitting me.

Powerman, i've used cinnamon is spaghetti sauce and i really liked it. Also, i used a TINY bit along with some allspice one time when i braised short ribs. The allspice definitely worked, but i think i went a little bit too heavy with the cinnamon. I think the combo will work, but i need to be more delicate with the cinnamon.

I do this quite often. Start small though, cinnamon can get overpowering very quickly.
