Diced up and seared some bacon.

Then I opened the can, and poured into the saucepan.

Added a dash of seasoning...

Then served.

Over all I think I nailed it.

*I am a little embarrassed that we are out of fresh basil, but the dried chives worked in a pinch.

Oh look, more sophomoric humor posts on the food board by a people trying to deflect from the reality that they can cook for shite. I wouldn't feed that shite to my dog.

Sorry. I was just reminiscing on some old school Rohan2Reed. Looks good Heypaul

I was a little disappointed in the potato chunks to clam chunks ratio.

It just makes me want to do my own now, which I will when it gets cold out.

I know your post was a joke, but I’ve actually been thinking about making clam chowder at home this winter. Never attempted it.

People around here take clam chowder very seriously.

Tony's in Cedar Key, Florida has some great clam chowder that they used to win some Great Chowder Fest (not sure of the name, but they made it sound like it was similar to the BBQ Fest in Memphis) up in New England with. They used to ship it on dry ice, now I think they ship it in a can and you have to add cream/milk

Got to throw some shredded cheddar and some coarse ground black pepper on top as well.
