Even though I just said it, you seriously need to try something other than the victim card.

I've only ever had the maple bacon one .. and it was atrocious. Poured it out after a few sips.

I think for beer it couldn't be any more unequivocally subjective. People should drink what they like.

every post you make where you insinuate that your way is the right way and everything else is wrong

if it isn't homemade then it's garbage and shouldn't ever be purchased. For fricks sake man, not everyone has time to wake up and make a fresh pan of biscuits before work

I find it funny that the magazine that publishes an article mocking people that advocate craft beers has a network that produces a show solely dedicated to advocating craft beers.

prep and cook time for homemade biscuits is equal to, if not less than, the cook time for canned Pillsbury biscuits.

but let's just ignore facts in order to continue the charade that I'm a huge snobbish douche bag.

You're telling me you can make biscuits from scratch faster than I can pop them out of the can? And we are supposed to take you seriously?

I don't think fact means what you think it does.

The funny thing about this is, that beer "snobs" are the least snobby people I know. They will welcome anybody into their group - provided certain minimum personal hygiene standards are met. For example, they welcomed me, once I brushed my tooth.

But, then again, we may be relying on the price point of "maven worthy" beer to keep the riff-raff out. I'm not sure.

yep. dough takes about 5 minutes to make. bake @ 450 for 10 minutes

think canned biscuits say to cook for at least 15. I can imagine the frozen variety probably take at least 20 minutes.

Too bad that's more than 10 minutes. Ouch.

Wrong.

ETA: Felt I should throw the directions in there before you say I'm making it up.

quote:

Keep Pillsbury biscuits refrigerated until use; they are perishable. For best quality, do not freeze or microwave unbaked dough, and use it before the expiration date on the bottom of the can.

Look for a start point on the biscuit label, lift the paper and peel off. Place the tip of a spoon on the bold line on the underlayer and press until the can pops apart.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a cookie sheet or round cake pan.

Place biscuits into the greased pan with the sides touching. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
