You can get a decent microwave for under $100, I'd just get a new one.

OCD much??? It's a camp microwave, who cares as long as it works.

Every camp kitchen I've been in has a collection of different plates, cups, glasses, silverware, pots and pans that others have wanted to toss out and they got taken to the camp.

Kind of an odd question but I wouldn’t paint the inside of a microwave

This one got good reviews on Amazon.

I think it's a good idea to touch up if you're set on keeping it so you can properly clean the inside. And it keeps one more item out of the landfill.
