Anyone have any suggestions? I loved what I tried in Mexico, but it's all so expensive in the US. Anyone have a reasonably priced Mezcal that they can recommend?

Honestly? There's good and there's cheap. Same with Agave.

We usually can find some in the $30-40 range that's good when we're feeling like mezcal. Can't remember names at the moment though.

Nope. For mezcal, the agave is smoked and it picks up the smoky flavor. Pretty big difference.

Yeah. Mezcal is like saying scotch whiskey instead of just whiskey as in Tequilla.
