Looking Indian buffet or Vietnamese in Metairie. Any recommendations for lunch? Or somewhere else if there is a much better option.

Ah. No. Didn't see "buffet" in OP's request. But I've always found I could get enough for a reasonable price. And I really enjoy their food.

Tandoori Chicken on Cleary (just north of the I-10 overpass in a small strip mall) has a lunch buffet. The same family used to operate an indian food kiosk in the long-gone Elmwood shopping center food court, a million years ago. IIRC, they're Sikhs (maybe their family name is Singh?)
