Mayonaise cake

Anyone else grow up eating this stuff?

Found a recipe from Hellmann's here.
Not sure if that's the same one my mother used but I'm guessing it is.


Unbelievable how moist it is.

That is a staple on Homecoming day at the church I used to go to. One of the matrons always brought one. Good, thick, and rich! I have not had one in a long time.

Mayonnaise is basically just eggs and oil so why would anyone think it's bad? Two staples in most cake recipes.
