Mayfair Salad Dressing

This was made famous decades ago at the Mayfair Hotel in St. Louis. It pretty much is to St. Louis what sensation salad dressing is to Baton Rouge. Personally I like to add a little extra garlic.

It is nothing like Caeser dressing. If you had not been told then you would never know the anchovies are in it.

Sounds good, will try. Have been using my little Ninja to make salad dressing lately. Works really well and dressings seem to stay emulsified longer

I think the best way to make this would be with an immersion blender, similar to the 2 minute mayo recipe.

Obviously I've never made it but that's a foolproof way for a perfect emulsion.
