Went in for lunch today, I think this place is underrated.

I went with the Hot Corned beef, and Pastrami, with provolone on toasted multi-grain bread.
Toss in a bag of Zapp's and a cold coke, and you have yourself a winner!!!!!!

I see yall talking about it on here ever once in awhile, so I just wanted to give it some love...

I personally like the cuban. Sure, they dont use the proper press or authentic bread that all fuss about on here, but it is a solid sandwich for a decent price.

I ate there pretty regularly when I lived in BR, my only complaint is that it took them a fricking half hour to do anything in that joint.

i was a little worried today, it was a quarter after noon, and they were busy.
but they lady ask me the my name, and went back there and yelled at the staff to see if it was ready, and sure enough it came out a couple minutes later

i don't have to punch a time clock, so i wasn't worried about it

I've never had a chance to sit down for sandwich there, but I've heard only good things.

I do get my steaks/ribs there when I can though. Great quality

i agree, it takes them forever to get a simple order ready...i've been to the new one on highland several times, and it's pretty good stuff.

Used to go to the one on corporate all the time and get the mikes special bbq sandwich. At least they had beer while you waited then. Don't know if they still do that it's been a while.

yes free beer, but they frown on you taking it outside and drinking it in the parking lot with your peeps, unfortunately.
