I lived in Montgomery 26 years, seven of those about 1/2 mile from Martin’s. Aside from the pulley bones, it’s very average. Always crowded with the elder folks.

It is nowhere near to being the queen of Bama meat & threes.

I think I might have eaten there once or twice back when I travelled for work. I had 3 or 4 separate audits down in Montgomery, all at least two weeks at the client. So I got to know the staff at the Garden Inn very well, and always asked our clients about good lunch and dinner places in the part of town we were working in. Chains get boring after a while. There are some good and great places to eat down there, but for this to be the Queen of Alabama meat and three's, I would have remembered. You get much better meat and three at little hole in the wall places in dry counties in rural Alabama.
