I will be in Madisonville tomorrow and am rarely there. Any suggestions for good semi casual lunch spots?

Triple Nickel is good.

So is the abita roasting place.

Skooters, good, more blue collar.

Habaneros 22 is more popular with a younger clientele although that's more towards Bedico

Supreme nachos is where it’s at.

Maybe knowing the level of dress or $$ would help narrow it down.

But Morton’s is probably the answer for old town seafood house type. I like The Anchor place for typical lunch stuff.

Young’s is excellent for higher end. Just across the river Impastato’s is good Italian.

Great stuff. Have they reopened from that bizarre crash?

Don't know why you are being downvoted. Keith Young's has excellent lunch specials, the bar food is very reasonably priced.

Triple Nickel if you want a good sandwich, albeit slightly on the pricey side.

Our go-to place for a quick meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Where NOT to go is The Blind Tiger…the place is a train wreck. But, the view is nice.

Agreed. Weird though because Blind Tiger locations in Slidell and BSL are both good. But the Madisonville one was terrible both times I tried it

Looks like abita roasting will be the winner after looking at the menu and the view. Thanks for the tips.
