didn’t read thread but just find it funny that someone said “this never goes on sale” and then was proven wrong and doubled down and said “they never go on sale”

you can read the thread and bring something to the table if you want to. Yoder is a tard and just a youtube personality, and franklins brisket is great but there are plenty of other places that do it just as good and some times better.

TX Monthly/Daniel Vaughan ranks are based ostensibly on more than just brisket. In fact I think they were a little off in their focus this past cycle.
So what five joints would you suggest are doing brisket as well or better than Franklin's.

Are you suggesting TX Monthly (TM) orders their rankings only on brisket? Not sure how they weight things but I don't think that's the case.
This most recent cycle, TM seemed to weight what joints were doing with their smoked meats as much as the smoked meat itself.
Have never eaten at Goldies (#1l or Franklin's (#7). I have eaten at Interstellar (#2). From my experience, everything was awesome but their brisket is no better than a dozen other joints I have eaten at.
So again, as opposed to parroting TM, just list out five joints doing brisket as well as or better than Franklin's.

Don’t want to get in the way of the urine contest but Rolling Smoke needs to be part of the conversation. They do great classics and have really good specials. Went this weekend and they had a smoked carne guisada that stole the show.
The food truck park has lots of great other options and is byob with tons of shade & tables. Still thinking about that carne guisada.

I pump Kyle and his food trailer every chance I get on here. He's been snubbed by Vaughn and TM because they are looking for their next story to get clicks and he's not in the "crowd." His tacos are the best I've ever had. Planning a trip to Austin sometime this fall/winter just to go back and get the tacos. Not to mention Kyle is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
