Commanders no longer requires a jacket.
Sadly they have to say jeans are discouraged and ripped jeans aren’t allowed on their website

It creates a certain atmosphere, and how else could you ensure that people will dress “nice” otherwise?

Every guy over 21 should have a jacket to wear to dinner and should be able to wear it even when one isn't required.

I agree, but I don’t feel like Luke is that occasion. Not saying that it is wrong to wear a jacket there (I don’t see a problem wearing a jacket to dinner anywhere), but Luke is not somewhere that it is “needed” or “called for”, IMO.

Casual these days means take a bath and brush your teeth..No t-shirts or wife beaters. No open toed shoes.
