Anyone got recommendations for restaurants in Los Angeles? Vacation, we are planning on 1 fancy meal without the kid and the rest somewhat casual where a 1 yr old can act an arse...

Haven't been there in years but there's a great little place in Hollywood called "Off Vine" in an old Craftsman cottage..indoor and outdoor seating, good food. We had tickets to a show at the Pantages Theater which was walking distance from there.

Umami has some great hamburgers. Baby Blues near SM is has some of the best wings ive ever had. As for fine dining, I have no clue, I was too poor for that when i lived there.

not sure what constitues fancy to you but if you like seafood I recommend water grill because that's my favorite restaurant. there's one in santa monica and one downtown. where in los Angeles are you staying?

Look up Tin Roof Bistro. Won’t be too far from you
