The price of really good old cast iron is often higher than the newer cast iron that’s made as good or better. Smithy, Field, Finex and Stargazer are a few current manufacturers.

I really like my Lancaster.
Have a stargazer brazier coming.
Also have a Texas cast iron called Fredericksburg, but have not tried it yet

I have 4 old ones I got from a friends grandma's house. They're pretty gross but I havent gotten around to cleaning them and reseasoning
