i love the taste of smoked chicken i just hate the way the skin always turns out.

I pat it dry and let it sit in the fridge over night. Skin still rubbery. Best thing I’ve found to do is finish them on the grill but at that point I might as well just cook them on my kettle.

Where does the Masterbuilt shine ? I’ve only been using it a week so I’m looking for something that works better then chicken.

Anything you would cook at lower temps in any other smoker should work just fine in the Masterbuilt. Their website actually has some really good recipes.

Also, I'm not sure if you're on Facebook or not but there's a really good group on there called "My Masterbuilt Electric Smoker." Guys post some really good tips and tricks on there.

The thing I don't like about electric smokers is you can barely put any wood chips in there. I want an electric that will let me put a ton of chips/chunks in it so I don't have to keep adding wood to get good smoke flavor.
