I actually have no idea how old you are (maybe 19, or maybe 78), but I know at my age, mistaking tuna and chicken in a recipe that probably only differs in the type of protein used is getting fairly common.
For those who don't know, there are many much worse problems associated with the "Old Timer" years than mistakingly writing Tuna in a Chicken recipe.

Looking for a good chicken salad recipe.
Last time I did chicken salad I just went and found one of those ready to eat chicken salad pouches next to the tuna fish and found a recipe off of it (then put the pouch back and went and bought a chicken). Had some curry in it, I put a little more cajun seasoning, it was awesome.
But looks like this might be what you are looking for-

I typically do a couple of boneless, skinless chicken breasts pressure cooked with chicken stock. Shred those with a hand mixer. Sauté a little celery and onion in a skillet with then throw that in as well.
Add Mayo, S&P, Smoked Paprika, and Garlic Powder to taste.

Probably won't be popular but when it comes to tuna or chicken salads I keep it simple. Having a ton of crap in it aint good.salt, pepper, eggs, onions,as fine as you can chop em

I like mine boiled egg heavy.
I also replace half the mayo with Greek yogurt. Adds the creamy texture without too much of a fatty mouth feel.

I use:
finely chopped chicken breast
finely chopped celery
finely chopped homemade sweet pickles
mayonnaise
a bit of Durkee's Famous Sauce
Occasionally I'll add a bit of grated sweet onion or a little sour cream as a sub for part of the mayo, or use Miracle Whip instead of mayo. But the 5 listed ingredients are my basic chicken salad. This works for tuna, ham, or turkey, as well. I have no set amounts for any of it. It's all done to appearance and taste.
