Looking for a Chuck roast burnt ends recipe

Seems I remember people here talking about this. Was telling a buddy about these and he wants to try them so I’m looking for a good method/recipe for him. He uses a pellet smoker by the way. Thanks.

Have you tried this recipe? I have looked at many recipes “courtesy of google” but was looking for ones that this board had personally tested out.

That almost exactly how I do it except: I smoke them under almost tender and sauce is only for about 30-45 minutes.

You use the killer hog rub or something else?

The concept is fine. Watch your salt on the rub and the beef broth. My wife and kids love the cheater burnt ends. Have fun with it.

Is this same thing as smoking a Chuck Roast to mimic a brisket?
