Looking for dinner recs in Brunswick Georgia

Not interested in going out to St. Simon fwiw.

I don’t have specifics but I will say that a general recommendation that I give to people visiting GA is to find a local bbq place and get pulled pork sandwiches. The vinegar/mustard sauces that they have in that part of the world pair with pulled pork to make the best bbq ever.

I would be tempted to find a place that serves Brunswick stew for obvious reasons.

Cafe Risque in Darien

Had buddy that lived in Brunswick, nice town but it was years ago and the only place I remember going is Cafe Risque.

Appreciate the Rex but Darien is half hour away.
For 30 minutes I can find a plethora of delights on St. Simons.

I knew I wouldn't be much help, quick google search showed me that place closed in 09', you wouldn't have wanted to eat there anyway.

My plans changed. I ended up driving there and back in one day. Sandwiches in a conference room.

But I will be going back from time to time so I bookmarked this thread.

Also going to plan a stop at Skippers at some point.
