We went to the Abita brewery
Man years ago when it was free pours, the Abita brewery tour was the shite. Wouldn't waste money on the way they do it now.

Tin roof has a pretty cool atmosphere on the weekends. Not much selection in BR after that.

Tin Roof isn't a bad hang out option in BR

No Red White and Brew or Barley Oak?

If you make it to Great Raft, may as well hit Red River Brewing right down the road. Nice tap room, usually playing decent music. Bonus: able to open Sundays because part of special downtown district,
I prefer Great Raft beers, but RR has a couple I like. Woke (red ale with coffee) and Countess (brown ale).

I've been to red white and Brew before it's a good time. But no we didn't get to stop by barely oak. We got a late start today.
I'll he going back to check out the rest of the scene over that way though

Low Road Brewery, whatever the one in Ponchatoula is called, Old Rail, etc he has a ton of options

Crying Eagle in Lake Charles has a beautiful taproom, but their beer is bad.
It's really a shame, because they clearly spent a ton of money on the taproom but this is true. Although I don't know if it's as much bad as it is boring. I went last week and the selection was just so bland. Nothing hoppy, no stouts, nothing that stood out at all.
I was so excited about having a local brewery here in LC, but they have really been a disappointment.

They will either go the way of Mudbugs or Tin Roofof... one improved their product the other did bot

I didn't even mention Covington because their beers are pretty bad, but there's no harm in trying them out anyway.
Keep exploring, there are still plenty of good beer places to hit up.
